Junior Camps are not just a great golf education, they are an important step in helping young people develop a love for the game of golf. We make these camps fun while assuring that our students learn the fundamentals of golf. Junior Camps are appropriate for golfers aged 6 to 16.
"The most important thing you can give kids is the experience that golf is a fun game -- one they can play all their lives. In Junior Camp, we teach children all the basics and work with them individually. But most of all, we make sure that golf is a great experience for them," said Matt Swanson, Director of Instruction.
Matt Swanson's School of Golf is fun for the whole family. We offer regular Junior Camps for ages 6-16 that include 9 hours of instruction with an 8:1 student teacher ratio! Junior Camp allows young players to learn important aspects of the sport through fun games, peer interaction and other techniques. Participants are broken into groups based on age and skill level and given instruction tailored to their needs.
Junior Camps run weekly throughout the summer and during school breaks.
They include golf instruction, games, contests and lunch after the camp.
